Seeking Silent Auction Donations!
A crowd favorite at our last two in-person conferences was our Silent Auction! This Silent Auction is special because items are all representative of our markets and WA communities. This is a chance to show off your region and market – get creative!
How it works?
- Please bring your donation with you to the Conference Registration Desk on Friday morning.
- Be prepared to fill out a Bid Sheet with a brief description of the item and approximate value.
- Come to the Auction Friday evening and bid on items from other attendees.
- Winning bidders can purchase their items when tables close. Cash, check or credit card will be accepted at the Reception.
What to bring?
All donations, big and small are welcome! In general, winning bids range from $10 to $100, with most items averaging around a retail value around $45. We hope to raise $2,000 to support the WSFMA’s 2023 promotion of Washington’s farmers markets! Favorites from past auctions include:
- Picnic with local wine, beer, or ciders and cured meats*
- Self-care Basket with spa items such as local lotions, soaps, candles, etc.
- Chef Basket of local goodies such as jams, pickles, baked goods, or sauces
- Gardening tools, seeds, and garden stakes
- Favorite cookbooks with tea towels, cutting board or favorite seasonings
- Handmade items such as pottery, quilts, jewelry, knit items, etc.
- Small plant and macrame hanger
- Market Swag such as t-shirts, posters, hats
*Please note there is not refrigeration available for perishables.
