Renton Farmers Market, seasonal positions

The Renton Farmers Market is hiring for seasonal Farmers Market Laborer positions to help with hands-on operations of the Market. Under the direction of the Farmers Market Coordinator, maintain and support the onsite, weekly operations of Renton Farmers Market. Sequim Farmers and Artisans Market, Operation Manager
The Sequim Farmers and Artisans Market is a vibrant and dynamic open-air market that operates every Saturday from May through October, as well as two winter markets (one in November and one in December). They are seeking an Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in coordinating and supervising the weekly market activities, working closely with the Market Director. This position is integral to the success of the Sequim Farmers and Artisans Market, requiring adept management during the market season. The Operations Manager is a part-time, seasonal role, averaging 20-25 hours per week during the market season and 10-15 hours per week for training and prep in April before the season begins. WSFMA Food Access Coordinator
Looking to build lasting programs that serve WA families, farmers, farmers markets, and state partners? Can you effectively translate between state agencies and grassroots endeavors? Are you committed to scale-appropriate and cost-effective deliverables that exceed expectations?
The Food Access Coordinator provides programmatic leadership and contract management, technical expertise, education, and advocacy to support farmers markets that offer SNAP, SNAP Market Match, and/or WIC and Senior FMNP. The WSFMA’s focus is on ensuring that farmers markets have the information, technical support, equipment, and ongoing advocacy they need in order to offer food access programs as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible. The Food Access Coordinator provides training and education to adult learners, ensures compliance with FNS guidance, works closely WA state agencies and local partners, and serves as a subject matter expert on emerging trends, policy, funding, and technology. The Food Access Coordinator reports to and works closely with the Executive Director. This is a full-time position and is hybrid with our office at Pike Place Market.
