Find a MarketManager and Farmer Scholarships
The Washington State Farmers Market Association (WSFMA), thanks to several generous donors, was once again able to offer farmers and market managers scholarships to our Annual Conference Feb. 2-4 2017, at the Semiahmoo Resort in Blaine, WA. Scholarships are intended to support attendees who would not otherwise be able to take part in this worthwhile conference. We offered full conference registration scholarships, half price full registration scholarships, and single day scholarships. All Washington farmers and WSFMA member market managers were eligible to apply. Farmer scholarship priority is given to Specialty Crop Farmers. Each scholarship is valued at $250, which covers conference registration and meals. Hotel accommodation scholarships are also available but on a very limited basis with priority given to Specialty Crop Farmers.
The WSFMA was able to offer nearly 80 farmers and market managers scholarships to the Feb 2017 Conference at Semiahmoo. Thanks to The HumanLinks Foundation and Pike Place Market PDA for donating scholarship funding in 2017
