WSFMA’s Board of Directors is comprised of farmers market organizers, partners, and community members who are elected by WSFMA member farmers markets at the annual meeting. The Board’s ensures that the WSFMA pursues its mission with the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and fairness and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Effective Board service is critical to WSFMA’s fulfillment of its mission.

The WSFMA Board of Directors meets monthly via a video call, usually the fourth Friday of the month. All Board meetings are open to the WSFMA member markets. Board members are volunteers who serve a 2-year term in accordance with the WSFMA Bylaws.

Chelsea Anderson (2026)
Community Member

Some of Chelsea’s earliest memories are going to roadside berry stands and farmers markets with her family growing up. Moving to Seattle in 2005 only increased her passion for local food and supporting farmers. Working for Finnriver Farm and Cidery finally allowed her to go behind the scenes at markets and start working as a vendor at markets all across the region starting in 2017. She loves to hike, kayak, cook and garden. Her favorite farmers market food is English peas and fava beans.

Pamela Daudet, Treasurer (2025)
Community Member, Farmer

Pamela is a farmer in the Olympia area who keeps a variety of company with her Angus cattle, spotted hogs, and chickens for meat, eggs, and breeding. In addition she has 5,000 square feet of gardens, raises honey bees. She also breeds AKC mini-dachshunds and AKC great Pyrenees. Parrots come into the mix as a part time endeavor. On the human side, Pamela has four children. A retired CPA, Pamela also volunteers as the community outreach coordinator for LCBA (honey bees) and Italian club of Olympia.

Karen Erickson, Vice President (2026)
Everett Farmers Market

Hailing from the Los Angeles area, Karen made the leap to Snohomish County over two decades ago. With a passion for wholesome eating and sustainable food sources, she has nurtured many a tiny garden over the years. Starting as a vendor in 2003 at the Everett and Snohomish Farmers Markets, Karen moved into Snohomish market manager role from 2007 to 2014. In 2012, she became the assistant manager at the Everett Farmers Market where she now handles marketing and social media promotions for both the Everett and Marysville Farmers Markets. Karen also served as WSFMA Regional Lead in the Snohomish region for two years. When she is not knee-deep in market duties, or running her promotional and sewing businesses, you might just catch her belting out tunes at an Open Mic night or organizing musical fundraisers in Everett.

Jessica Huerta, (2025)
Wenatchee Valley Farmers Market

Originally from Northern California, Jessica has been part of the Wenatchee Valley community for over 6 years, and managed Wenatchee Valley Farmers Market for a couple of year and is now a member of the Board of Directors. I wanted to continue to stay involved in the organization and support our amazing vendors and educate our community in how much value farmers markets bring to communities. My professional background varies from Farm & Commercial insurance, retail management, to my current role in public transportation planning in Chelan and Douglas County. When I’m not busy volunteering or running around during my down time, I love spending time with my two dogs, Sage, and Ember.

Kelli Diann Gordon (2026)
Issaquah Farmers Market

Kelli Diann grew up on a cattle and tobacco farm in Appalachia, on the state line of Virginia and West Virginia. Farmers markets have been ever present in her life, from attending with her Granddad, working for vendors, and now managing the Issaquah Farmers Market. She and her wife enjoy tending their urban garden with their dog. Helping small businesses succeed is what lights her up! Seeing Washington farms, farmers, and their families grow and thrive is what motivates her in work and service.

Matt Kelly, Past President (2025)
Queen Anne Farmers Market

Matt is the Executive Director of the Queen Anne Farmers Market. Matt’s passion is bringing people together and local food is the best way he knows how! Matt loves cherry season at the market. “There’s nothing like sunny Seattle days with a big bag of Rainier cherries!” He enjoys family trips to the beach, woodworking, and gardening. His business operations and systems background, paired with years of experience as a market manager give him a valuable perspective ready to share on the WSFMA board. Matt also serves on the board of the Queen Anne Chamber of Commerce and freelances in event production throughout the Puget Sound region.

Jerry Shackette, Secretary (2025)
Community Member 

Jerry is originally from Spokane and enjoyed many years in public relations and the hospitality business before accepting a faculty position at College of the Ozarks near Branson, Missouri. He led the Hotel and Restaurant Management and Culinary Arts programs at this liberal arts work college beginning in 1997. Jerry moved “back home” to the Pacific Northwest in 2015. He is currently Development / Program Manager at Friendship House in Mount Vernon which is the primary provider of services for the homeless in Skagit County. Jerry currently serves as a serves as a development associate working remotely. In 2015 Jerry served as a volunteer market info booth worker, board member, two-term treasurer, and completed two terms as Board President for the Mount Vernon Farmers Market.

Barbara Soto (2025)
Community Member, Farmer

A third generation livestock farmer from the Boistfort Valley (near Chehalis), Barbara has been involved as a farm vendor a six farmers markets. Taking Washington grown to people is of utmost importance to her whether it is produce, livestock, or trees. Barbara and her family live on their 100 acre farm and has 30 cow calf pairs, run 10 sows, and about 175 laying hens and average 300 meat birds a year.

Debra Stansbery, President (2026)
Community Member, Farmer

Deb has been obsessed with food for as long as she can remember.  She earned a degree in Biology at Whitman College, fell in love with bees and studied pollination behavior and small-scale agriculture.  She has always worked outside, building sustainable trails in Colorado, doing Outdoor Education and farming.  Working on a variety of farms and participating in Farmers Markets all over the country gives her an expansive and unique perspective that she is excited to share on the WSFMA Board. She has most recently served three years as President of the Wenatchee Farmers Market Board and owns her own diversified vegetable farm.
