Regional Leads Program
The Regional Leads program, which rests under the umbrella of the Farmers Market Access Partnership, connects local government agencies and community non-profits with neighborhood farmers markets in on-the-ground efforts to increase SNAP redemption at farmers markets.
Regional Leads are experts in the operations, strengths, needs, and contexts of their regions’ markets. Each Regional Lead acts as an important resource for market organizations, coordinating region-wide efforts such as marketing and training, and building relationships between farmers markets and community agencies that serve federal benefits users. Regional Leads also collaborate with each other to share best practices and information throughout the state.
