He was Director of the Jefferson County Farmers Markets for the past 7 years. In the mid-2000s he co-founded both Finnriver Farm and Cidery and Mt. Townsend Creamery. Karen will also continue to lead WSFMA’s legislative and policy work.
“We feel very lucky to be able to retain the dedication, experience and relationships that Karen brings to the WSFMA,” said WSFMA Board President Stacy Carkonen. “Will, Karen, and new Food Access Program Manager Kate Delavan represent a powerful combination of skills and know-how to move the organization forward and make the most of future opportunities. I could not be happier about WSFMA’s new staffing team. I encourage all our members and partners to give Will a warm farmers market welcome!”
